Has any one had a 6 month old baby stop taking a pacifier...?

Is your son sucking from or bottle without any trouble? Sometimes when they get ear pain or an ear infection they may not take to suckling because it hurts. Have you tried a different pacifier? Perhaps his tastes bad or funny. Maybe someone got something spicy on it? If he is still drinking bottles or nursing without fussing and you have tried a different pacifier or washing his then maybe he just doesn't want it anymore. I know how much it helps to have it at bedtime. Good luck and God Bless.
