Would people be any less likely to go to war in the name of science, as compared with religion?

South Park depicts a scenario where worshipers of science still find ways to create wars with regards to a dispute over what Atheists should call themselves. uming that science was finally to triumph over Religion, would this be a realistic scenario in that Atheists or scientists would find new ways to manufacture conflict over 'naming disputes' or some other area involving science or non religious concerns?
