Wife is Bipolar, filed a protective order 2 years ago but is delaying divorce, any one familiar with this?

I was accused of threatening that was false and no doubt brought on by her mental illness. I have since moved on, have a wonderful woman, and am loving life...except even though I filed for the divorce over a year ago, she is intentionally delaying it, avoiding being served, filing frivolous motions, etc. I just want it over, but she's even posted on the internet that she "Can't let it go" and goes on to mention causing bodily harm. She has threatened me several times in the past (The PO was to keep me from getting custody of my son) and Im kind of worried she may be planning on harming me and my fiance once the order ends Nov 29th if I don't come back to her. She keeps dropping hints to people she want to "talk about the divorce" when there is nothing left to do but sign papers. She got caught driving by house several times during our custody litigation. She has filed two protective orders prior to this one only to recant them as soon as I agreed to come back. Has anyone experienced something similar? Do I have any recourse to protect myself? I live in Virginia
