HELLPP!! I tried to clean my uggs with water now theres this big ugly stain!!! what should I do!!!!?

I had some liquidish candy in my uggs not very big maybe like 2 centimeters long. I went online and it said to wash it with distilled water and soap one way then let it dry overnight. When I woke up today theres this giant ugly stain!!! what should i do????
