Big question concerning projects?

I have a question in regards to sickle cell disease. Now I know it's a genetic disorder and that it can be treated with bone marrow transports, but if someone is treated with a transplant, does that mean any offspring of that person with the transplant will inherit the disease? I know for a fact some alleles can be altered by the environment and exercise, like height for example. Also, there's another question I have in regards to natural cycles. How does picking up and bagging leaves disrupt the natural nutrient cycle?
