I'm 32 years old, 5'3" tall, and weigh 70 kgs (154 lbs). I want to lose 20 kilos over the next one year.?
I would suggest you try running and Cardio in the morning right as you get up in the morning before you shower or eat. Then do some abs training in the middle of the day as you want to keep your body active and eat 6 small meals throughout the day. Avoid carbs, and too many saturated fats as these will ultimately prevent you from reaching your goal, although you do need to eat some! Try to devote at least an hour a day to working out, more if you can. Drink lots of water! One bottle of water burns over 25 calories, and it will be your best friend when losing weight. And to this, "Also, I have a bit of a tummy post pregnancy. I understand that target weight loss doesn't really work. ", yes target weight loss doesn't work, however if you do cardiovascular activity, what ends up happening is after a certain point, your body will begin to use your fats as fuel and after alot of sweat and tears your fat will slowly disappear. It's going to take a lot of effort but will ultimately be rewarding in the end. (P.S. You should take up weight lifting as well, read up on it".
