My honda prelude 2.2vtec wont go into top gear. does this mean the gear box is knackered or myt it be an elect

If it's an automatic and the shift lever is moving and it still won't go into gear then there is something wrong inside the transmition uming it's full of fluid. If it's a standard shift then it can be that the clutch is not releasing. Try putting it in gear before you start the engine. If it goes in gear that way then you will have clutch problems. Possibly in the clutch hydrolics
