My Left Knee Keeps Popping!?

Im 17 female, 2 years ago i have key hole surgery on my left knee as i had a fall and chipped my bone and tore cartilage. now for the past 1-2 weeks every time i crouch down or walk down the stairs in pops on the left side of my left knee cap. what can this be ease answer. many thanks mel
