Why many Americans believe that?

Not all Americans think like that.Some of us know that just like in the US there are people all over the world that are happy in their country. I am also a Hispanic living in the US. Came here when I married an American. It is good that some Mexican do realize that the issue of illegally tresping into American soil is a problem. And the Mexican government should share in the problem solving.
