I went through this same thing. I got my first cat as a kitten, then a year and a half later I brought home a kitten. At first, the cat absolutely hated the kitten, he would hiss and growl and seem like he was going to attack the kitten. We talked to the vet and he said it was just the cat being territorial and that it wasn't anything to worry about. Until the kitten got big enough to defend himself, we would keep him in the bathroom while we left the house- separated from the older cat. Now, they love each other. Of course, they'll fight sometimes- but that is normal. It shouldn't be anything serious once they can both defend themselves. But until then, supervise them when they are together, for at least the first few months.

We were in yorkshire dales at the weekend, and a farmer had put some dead moles in a line on his wall. They had been dead a while as they were dried up. I can understand that they are pests, but why line them all up on a wall? I don't think it was to deter other moles!!

washing your clothes on the delicate cycle won't hurt your clothes but if you are washing heavy loads like towels or jeans it can hurt your washer. It causes it to work much harder trying to move the clothes around on these loads and can cause premature transmissin failure. I recommend getting a front loader washer because 1. it uses less water 2. no agitator 3. will get your clothes cleaner, and 4 won't tear up your clothes. oh and 5 it will create shorter drying times as it spins out the water better in your clothes. Also useing the right laundry soap and amount helps also.

aww bless you i think its wonderful that you want to do well in your GCSE's! i'm not sure that you are being obsessive or competetive about it though, you just want to succeed. and there is nothing wrong with that. however the only way to get the grade you deserve is to talk to a teacher about it (how about your form tutor), if you told someone how you feel they would surely see how determined and motivated you are about it. maybe get your parents to go in and speak to your head teacher about it if you don't feel okay doing that. i hate that they give kids more of a chance than those people willing to learn. its always the same. good luck in your GCSE's!

Is your son sucking from or bottle without any trouble? Sometimes when they get ear pain or an ear infection they may not take to suckling because it hurts. Have you tried a different pacifier? Perhaps his tastes bad or funny. Maybe someone got something spicy on it? If he is still drinking bottles or nursing without fussing and you have tried a different pacifier or washing his then maybe he just doesn't want it anymore. What to do with these mood swings?

I've had mood swings since gr. 10. It seems to be getting worse and worse. Nowadays I go from feeling fantastic and full of energy to suicidal and then back again. Let's be straightforward here, I'm not against health care reform, I am against a universal health care plan adopted from Canada and other countries where it clearly has shortened the life expectancy rate. Clearly the American people did not won't THIS bill, however we do want refom that will actually be effective. This will undoubtably lower the quality of care, for instence if every car on the car lot was free everyone would rush and swoop one up, just imagine the cars being the doctors and the medicine, this means the government will vastly have to supply more and more medicine which is going to cost an unimaginable amount of money (more debt) and there will be a shortage of doctors, thus which brings about rationing, or who gets the treatment and who doesn't. We just threw away the best healthcare system in the world for a "fantasy" that will, mark my words turn into chaos. Not to mention that our faithful leaders haven't even READ the bill! I'm no longer considering myself a democrat nor am I voting them back. I was once so stupid to believe Obama stood for hope and change, but it's the same mind exploding fusteration Bush gave us. Both parties have tread on us!

He is retiring in December after an honorable 20 year career in the military having served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Bosnia, South Korea and Iraq. Wife is Bipolar, filed a protective order 2 years ago but is delaying divorce, any one familiar with this?

I was accused of threatening that was false and no doubt brought on by her mental illness. I have since moved on, have a wonderful woman, and am loving life...except even though I filed for the divorce over a year ago, she is intentionally delaying it, avoiding being served, filing frivolous motions, etc. I just want it over, but she's even posted on the internet that she "Can't let it go" and goes on to mention causing bodily harm. She has threatened me several times in the past (The PO was to keep me from getting custody of my son) and Im kind of worried she may be planning on harming me and my fiance once the order ends Nov 29th if I don't come back to her. She keeps dropping hints to people she want to "talk about the divorce" when there is nothing left to do but sign papers. She got caught driving by house several times during our custody litigation. She has filed two protective orders prior to this one only to recant them as soon as I agreed to come back. Has anyone experienced something similar? Do I have any recourse to protect myself? My pony is losing his winter coat still as he is a very fluffy native and so is a little itchy all over from this, however over the past couple of weeks he has begun to itch his face lots. Everyday, it is not what I struggle with, it is how do I let this struggle, rejection, bitterness, strife or thing(s) that aggrivate my life. Do I let them control me, push me to where it move me and to what degree it would force me? It would if I gave it free reign, to do so. In doing so it only shows that I am the weaker because of it, and not the master of it; yet even in trying to master it, does it change my outlook, does it change my attitudes towards others, does it make me act differently than what I should, then it has power over me. No in all these things, I use them to stregnthen my resolve. I use them to increase my love towards one another. I use them to sharpen my mercy and compion and give me endurance over these things. These things will always be here until Christ comes again creates all things new. They are then things that are along the journey, neither problems or prizes they are just signposts that I know I have a little more way to go to travel further till all is finished and the race is run and won in the Name of Him who sustains me through them all - Jesus Christ - the Living One Who Sees!

Sometimes citric acid can burn if you have it on an empty stomach, which might be why you felt the burning sensation, but it wont do you any harm if you drink it after a workout in general. In terms of eating dinner that late, it isn't really good for the digestive system to eat so late and it is not conducive to a good nights sleep either. You should try having a protein shake after the workout (try a whey isolate) as this will nourish and fill you up, but wont lie on your tummy all night or disturb your sleep.

So i have gotten 6 or 7 cold sores in a month and a half...i don't think that is normal. My lips really hurt. They are chapped and itchy. I was wondering if it is serious enough to go and see a doctor. I never gotten that many in such a short period of time. I don't drink after anyone and don't kiss anyone either so i do not know why they keep reappearing. I got 3 at one time and after a couple of weeks they went away. If it's an automatic and the shift lever is moving and it still won't go into gear then there is something wrong inside the transmition uming it's full of fluid. If it's a standard shift then it can be that the clutch is not releasing. Try putting it in gear before you start the engine. If it goes in gear that way then you will have clutch problems. Possibly in the clutch hydrolics

Alright, so I have an adult Leopard Gecko. I went to the petstore to buy him some mealworms to feed him. Your supposed to keep them in the fridge, but me being the idiot I am put them in the freezer by accident, and didn't realize it until it was too late and they were all dead. Well I took them out of the freezer and put them in the fridge just in case, but I was wondering if it would be harmful to feed dead mealworms to my gecko? There kept in the fridge, but I was wondering if this could make him sick somehow? At first I didn't think it would be because I feed my snake dead mice, but I keep the dead mice in the freezer and thaw them out when I feed them to him. So would it harm my gecko if I feed him these dead mealworms that are being stored in a fridge?

How would you handle a situation concerning your husband & another woman that is "just a friend"?

My husband is a great, popular guy that likes to help people. I am his #1 supporter. We have had a great marriage, no doubt to his faithfulness to myself and our family. He presses me to become her friend and has invited her to hang out with us on or vac/anniversary trip. I am skeptical of her intentions, because "why does she spend so much time on my husband". He has made statements about missing her and noticing when she isn't on IM because "she is half his daily conversation", but she is “just a friend”. We meet on or trip; she happens to be identical to me, with my demeanor when I was about 25 even though she is my age. Everything that he fell in love with 12 years ago. She hangs out with us all weekend and I see complete adoration in her actions for my husband. She bought him a gift too and “do I mind if she mails it to him”. I mention this to him and he is OK with it but, this was/is unacceptable to me; I tell her she is crossing a line and it makes me feel uncomfortable, she backs down and says forget that she even mentioned it. After she left, I express my concern for her attachment to him and he denied noticing anything. We return from the trip unsettled, I continue normal relations with her as did he.
